Re: [jakartaee-tck-dev] GlassFish and JDK 11

Hi Alwin

The JDK 11 is work in progress so it won't work yet.

Hi Steve,

We have not started running the TCKs with JDK11 yet in the CI.
IMO, It would be a good start if we can have the glassfish bundle where the start-domain issues resolved with jdk11 as java home. This should start running the tests that rely on glassfish server being up.

I tried start-domain with jdk11 and got below, This does seem to be jdk issue?

JVM failed to start: com.sun.enterprise.admin.launcher.GFLauncherException: The server exited prematurely with exit code 1.

Regards,
Alwin

Hi,

The next big thing we need to do in GlassFish is the move to JDK 11 support. How do you want to coordinate that with the TCK development? Is there anything we specifically need to do not to break or delay your work?

Thanks

Steve
