And that despite or in Addition to a Jetty module system of its own with files that look a Little bit like Windows INI files ;-)

 

Will they exist side-by-side for longer?

You are correct, Jetty 10, based on Jakarta EE 8 (javax.servlet & javax.websocket), was the first with JPMS support.
