Short Bio:
Brazilian born, currently living in Switzerland, with more than 20 years of experience in software development, currently working as an Enterprise Architect and Deputy CTO. During my professional career, I worked with development teams of all sizes, mentored engineers and aspiring developers, I delivered training courses on Java development, Middleware operations, and Software Architecture. I worked on big tech companies delivering and consulting on Java-based solutions, managed development teams delivering projects to different businesses always using Java and JVM-based technologies, and worked closely with the software development community, helping and contributing as much as I can.
Introduction:
In all of my years of experience in software development, were always dedicated to work with Java and JVM-based technologies. Always present and supporting the Java community, first working closely with DFJUG, and after moving from Brazil, with LJC and DevOps communities across Europe.
Having the opportunity to help drive and shape the future of Jakarta EE, hearing what our development community is looking for, and to be able to deliver something back to them that is meaningful, usable, and that makes them more productive are my core objective by staying as part of the Specification Committee group.
