Past business / action items:

  • Approval is requested for the minutes from the July 24th, 2024 meeting as drafted - Approved.

Agenda:

  • Ongoing tracking spreadsheet of specifications progressing through the JESP specification version lifecycle

    • Check in on EE 11 Release Review ballots, see the spreadsheet for updates and notes.

      • Platform + Web & Core Profiles remaining


Date for a date - all required infrastructure needed to achieve the TCK refactoring in in place, now calibrating velocity to determine a date projection for completion

Note that JNDI will not be deprecated in EE 11, it is a backlog item for EE 12. The Deprecation Process will need to be followed if this change proceeds

  • Ongoing - Prepare for our Jakarta EE 11 release retrospective [All]  

    • Review the open issues:

      • Determine which issues to label as “enhancement” and add to our board

      • Close issues which can are no longer relevant or have been dealt with

    • Feel free to open new issues here which we will get to after the release is done. Add the “enhancement” label.

    • See the issues for updates and notes.

Improve Mentor Review Process #80 - The protocol to be adopted for upcoming ballots is that after 2 weeks, if the mentor has not engaged, the PR will be re-assigned.

Problems with TCK challenge operation #57 - Issue closed.

Fix handling of Specification integration TCKs #779 - Issue removed from the board, to be tracked and resolved by the Platform Project
