|Re: [jakarta.ee-spec] [BALLOT] Approve the Jakarta TCK package naming convention ee.jakarta.tck.[spec]|
The vote has essentially elapsed and I'm struggling to understand this because there isn't a fully detailed proposal - just links to email chains.
If I'm understanding the conversation correctly - this isn't being proposed as a mandatory requirement for Jakarta EE 10 (just a recommendation to avoid any jakarta.* packages for the TCK), but it will be for 11 (and presumably also for any 10.x releases?). Again, it's hard to parse because this proposal is just comprised of email chains and a discussion in the spec committee call (and apparently also on the platform call which I don't personally join).

Greetings Jakarta EE Specification Committee.
Per the process, this will be a seven-day ballot, ending on January 19, 2022, that requires a Super-majority positive vote of the Specification Committee members (note that there is no veto). Community input is welcome, but only votes cast
by Specification Committee Representatives will be counted.
