(if you want to make comments).
I picked version "1.2", because I thought that it would be easier to stay in step with the EFSP.
There are there major changes here:
I've pointed to the EFSP 1.2. Note that the link will default to the 1.1 version until after we publish 1.2.
Based on discussions that we had with the EFSP 1.2, I've changed the ballot periods for the progress and release (including service releases) reviews from 30 to 14 days. Note that the EFSP's provision that ballot can be extended to 30 days applies. If anybody feels strongly about this, we can add a statement that reinforces this.
I've added a statement that makes it explicit that a ballot ends immediately in the event that the specification team withdraws from the review.
You'll notice that I made the minor change of adding the word "Review" to the bullet regarding Service Releases. The EFSP, a Service Release requires a review. I believe that this change does not change any existing intent or meaning, but rather reinforces the requirement to engage in a review for a Service Release.
This is on the agenda for our call today. Please take a few minutes to review the content in advance of the call.
Thanks,
Wayne
