Re: [jakarta.ee-spec.committee] BALLOT: Approval to create the Jakarta Bean Validation Project
|
+1 from IBM (on behalf
of Dan)But, I would like
to ask for some Oxford commas in the Scope statement to make it easier
to read and understand... Jakarta
Bean Validation describes a means for declaring constraints on Java object
models, APIs to validate constraints, and query for constraint meta-data,
as well as integration with other Jakarta EE specifications such as CDI
or JAX-RS.

[jakarta.ee-spec.committee] BALLOT: Approval to create the Jakarta
Bean Validation ProjectSent
by: jakarta.ee-spec.committee-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx
Greetings Jakarta EE Specification CommitteePlease review the Jakarta
Bean Validation project proposal. Per the Eclipse Foundation Specification
Process, I require a super-majority vote of the members of the Jakarta
EE Specification Committee to successfully complete a Creation Review and
then start the process of standing up the project. The specification scope is specified
as:Jakarta
Bean Validation describes a means for declaring constraints on Java object
models, APIs to validate constraints and query for constraint meta-data
as well as integration with other Jakarta EE specifications such as CDI
or JAX-RS.
I hereby request that the Specification
Committee vote to approve the creation of this first Specification Project. Please respond to this note with:+1 to approve;-1 to reject; or0 to abstain. If you do choose to reject or abstain,
I would appreciate a short (one or two sentence) explanation.I will assemble the results and publish
them on the record that we're using to track this process.I would like to resolve this on July
3/2019. Your vote in advance of that date will be appreciated.Thank you.Wayne-- Wayne
