Re: [jakarta.ee-spec.committee] JNoSQL Specification

Assuming "Jakarta" is a trademark of the Eclipse Foundation, will it be
managed similarly to the Java trademark? What will be the restrictions
on its use?

For example, will the jakarta.* package namespace only be allowed for
Eclipse projects that have entered the Eclipse Foundation Specification
Process, as suggested in today's meeting?

If so, then jakarta.nosql seems likely to be approved for use by the
JNoSQL Specification Project, once it is submitted and approved, but
I wouldn't expect the JNoSQL project to begin using it before that point.

Of course, the Eclipse Foundation can define different rules for the use
of the Jakarta trademark, in which case this might be allowed now per the
rules, or it could be allowed now as a special case. In any case, it would
be good to know what the rules are, and whether this is being handled
according to the rules or as an exception.
