- The group continued to work on the "Eclipse
Foundation Specification Process: Goals and Requirements v2"
document. In addition to the items listed above in the agenda,
the group:
- added a definition of "Specification Projects" and their
related "Scope" and "Specification Teams".
- It was decided that Specifications can have more than one
"Specification Implementations", and that the notion of a
singular "Reference Implementation" from the JCP process will
not be used at Eclipse.
- It was agreed that due to travel of several committee members
that the call on 5/25 will be cancelled.
- It was agreed to ask IBM to provide a speaker on the 6/1
meeting to provide an overview of the new OASIS open source /
open standards process.
