+1 to the calls' being recorded, yet let's go further.
There is no issue when using Zoom when handling any body call that must protect its time and the schedule.
Zoom allows any call to have others (not the assigned invited representatives BUT actually: Individuals, Participants Members, interested Members, etc.) in attendance that are invisible to the designated attendees by having the call be set-up the as follows:
- no chat capabilities
- no video
- no voice
- + more cool features
Zoom capabilities make it easy for open source communications to be publicly traced as it ought to be, IF that is the actual goal of the #OSSproject.
Ideally, anyone in attendance starts to feel invested, encouraged & motivated to follow-up when she/he must. That is, if necessary, after attending or watching the call recordings of any Jakarta EE committee call. How? Using the Jakarta EE forums, with a focus on the specific forum based on the topic can only help shape proactively what currently is.
That means that Jakarta EE, as we know it, finally becomes what it was meant to be when being open sourced, an exemplary project that is forged & handled BY its Community FOR its Community.
It is not too late for Jakarta EE. We- together- can change anything if we care enough to understand the gravity of what currently is and its adverse effects in the long term.
I want to continue being a contributor to the Jakarta EE Project that acts on what it says.
An ecosystem where everyone can make a difference because she/he can step into the room & understand that the responsibility is equally distributed for the #ossDOERS, no and in its future.
That Jakarta EE risks, failure, wins... All the Jakarta EE shades make us whole, to belong means to understand our part on anything.
Cheers with tea #ossDOERS,
