I'm curious as to what the story is here. Has he previously been able to contribute, and suddenly found that he now cannot because his employer isn't a paying member of the necessary group(s)? There's probably not enough information in the tweet to really know what's going on, but people may read that, have a perception, and decide they don't want to participate. That would be a shame. I'm happy to reach out to Romain to see if there's an issue that can be addressed.

to his opinion, but I don't agree with it.
I belong to and
have participated in both foundations -- Eclipse and Apache. Yes,
they are different. They both have quirks. But, I do not agree
with posting something like this and asking for a discussion. At
least not on the Jakarta EE Community forum. We should focus on Jakarta
EE issues and questions, and not opinions about the Eclipse Foundation.
