Regards, Werner Hi, Sorry, late to the party here. I certainly like to step up to lead the common annotations projects. As I'm much involved with the security specs, I'm already looking into (and have looked into) the security package of command annotations. I've also pushed quite a number of proposals for the DataSourceDefinition annotation. From JSF managed beans, but also from working with CDI I'm quite up to date with the annotations in the main package. All together I feel I would be a good candidate for this project as lead. Not a commiter at this spec but i'm glad to help if you guys need it. I am currently not a committer on any of these projects though I would like to be. I feel commons annotations might be a good starting point since it's a small spec allowing me to acclimate myself. I suppose what I'm saying is I'd like to volunteer for it if there's a need. I am not a committer to the CA project right now, so if any of the existing committers were happy and able to take the lead, no problem for me either. Otherwise if a new committer vote like we saw for a few other projects was possible, I would be happy to help either way even if it was just a committer role. I don't want to do too many at once, but it is a relatively small spec similar to JSR 330 (@Inject) Plus we also discussed synergies with e. G. Security annotations for ES, therefore I'd be happy to help by leading the Annotations spec.
