[iot-wg] The IoT Playground will be back at EclipseCon Europe!

Hi everyone!

I would like to invite you to participate to our IoT Playground at EclipseCon Europe 2019, October 21-24 in Ludwigsburg (https://www.eclipsecon.org/europe2019/playground).

The Playground is a special one day exhibit, designed to highlight the innovative IoT projects from around the Eclipse ecosystem. You are invited to network with the conference attendees with a hands-on demo of your project or product. This year’s Playground takes place on Wednesday, October 23, from 12:30 to 20:00. If you’re new to the conference or the Playground, visit the IoT Playground guide from 2018 for ideas. You will see that there are almost no limits, as long as your demo is hands-on and innovative!

To join the Playground, please send your proposal to playground@xxxxxxxxxxx. Successful applicants will receive a free 1-day pass.

The deadline for Playground submissions is Friday, September 13, 2019.

Proposals

Your proposal should include:
  • A title (please make it catchy!)
  • The full name and email address of the leader(s)
  • Links to your web pages
  • A  logo
  • A description, which includes
    • Information about what the participants will see, do, or learn
    • Any special requirements for space, equipment, setup time, etc.
  • Some images

I have included an example submission below. If you have more questions or suggestions for a great demo, please email us on playground@xxxxxxxxxxx.

Description
The APP4MC Rover demonstrates the utilization of parallel system resources via APP4MC, an open source tool platform for engineering embedded multi- and many-core software systems.
The Rover features many sensors and can be controlled via a webpage. It performs complex tasks such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Parking via commands sent from the browser.
Along with the APPSTACLE project, the Rover also involves powerful Cloud and IoT technologies for bidirectional data exchange across Eclipse Hono.

Come play with the demonstrator, check out the new developments, and share your thoughts on how it should be improved. More details are available on the Rover wiki page.
