Hi Jens,
I was under the impression that changing the version number was only a suggestion from your side. We'd like to use 2.0.0 as the version number for the upcoming Eclipse Hara release as the latest version of the uf-ddiclient (the project name before it was brought in as the Eclipse Foundation project) is 1.0.1.
We think that using 2.0.0 would keep up the previous versioning scheme and generate less confusion on current users of uf-ddiclient
What are your thoughts on that?
I didn't see any of my concerns addressed. Or did I miss something?

thanks for your advice, we reviewed it internally and we decided to keep version 1.0.0 if it is ok with you.

I think the release looks good. My only concern is the "1.0.0", as this is a new project, as there seem to be no previous releases, or API policies. 1.0 releases are normally part of a graduation review [1]. However, I am not sure a graduation review makes sense at this point.
This isn't about code stability, but about all kinds of factors. If you did have releases before Eclipse, that might also be a reason to continue with the previous versioning scheme.
Otherwise, I would suggest starting with something like 0.1.0 instead.
