ImageN 0.9.3 is a pre-release milestone build, and the first published to Maven Central. As pre-release software it is intended for early adopters to test, and to gather feedback ahead of an official release.
Highlights:
- Published to Maven Central as org.eclipse.imagen, with sources and javadocs.
- Module artifacts consistently use the imagen- prefix (e.g. affine is now imagen-affine), with a new imagen-bom to manage versions, see adding ImageN to your project.
- Scale2 moved to the org.eclipse.imagen.media.scale2 package, see name changes.
- JPMS: automatic module names, JaiI18N message lookups removed, and operation registration from the module path, see JPMS allowances.
- imagen-all now includes contour, imageread and vectorize, see shaded jars for building your own.
- ParameterBlockImageN method chaining, see Listing 3-3.
- Mosaic and warp performance improvements, including a fast path for single byte sources.
- SquareRootStretch fixed for byte and ushort images.
- Dependency updates (ANTLR 4.13.2) and removal of unused dependencies.
