Thanks Dani, still not sure I like it.
One of the things we desperately need is a set of UX guidelines, or a standard UI design language. As an example, features that users find valuable need to be discoverable and enabled without having to turn on preferences. We also have to be brave and do the right thing and not worry about the vocal minority. I've been inspired by this discussion. I think as a collective, we have a good sense of what a great UX should look like. We'll have to think about how we can harness that and put it to good use. And of course, we need to figure out how to influence project members who have UX problems even though they don't believe they do. Mind you that's a challenge for all UX designers, even the ones I worked with here at BlackBerry :). Doug. And for that hover you don't need to press F2, you can simply move the mouse into it and then it gets enriched. This behavior can be configured on the
'Text Editors' preference page: 'When mouse moved into hover'.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure that was the first time I've ever pressed F2 to focus :-). Maybe those buttons (configure annotation preferences and configure problem severity) should be in the list of quick fixes.
