Thanks, Mike! Interesting read. All the items seem pretty minor but there are a lot of them and when they all add up, you can understand their frustration.

Interesting comparing with Netbeans, I tried it recently and found a number of UX things I liked there, especially with the toolbar (no surprise ;). It seemed like a much friendlier interface for new users, something we dearly need for Eclipse.
