(locationtech.geomesa) was started by Emilio Lahr-Vivaz with this criteria:

Austin Heyne has been contributing to GeoMesa for the last 5 years, and has
made over 100 commits for bug fixes and new features.

He has also consistently engaged with the community, most recently having
presented a talk about GeoMesa with Kafka Streams at ApacheCon 2022.

It is my pleasure to nominate Austin Heyne as a committer on LocationTech
