Since we’re using immutable simple feature types, we should be able to cache them. keep a timeout like we do with the metadata to ensure that we get updates if the schema changes. In particular, the kafka data store feature store ends up re-parsing the spec string b/c it’s hitting the unoptimized feature writer call here: https://github.com/locationtech/geomesa/blob/geomesa-3.4.0/geomesa-index-api/src/main/scala/org/locationtech/geomesa/index/geotools/GeoMesaFeatureStore.scala#L152
