Hi Bert,

It depends apparently on the mail program you use. For me, the footer is an attachment (named ATT00001.txt) and thus not part of the message, and not quoted on replies. It seems for you it is part of the message and thus quoted on replies. What mail program do you use, because a solution will likely be specific to that program?

Note that I see in the email source the following with the attachment:

    Content-Disposition: inline

Anybody happen to know a setting to remove the auto-generated links at the end of each email from the escet-dev@xxxxxxxxxxx mailing list, as shown below?
