The focus of Maya is server managed installs of eclipse. The current code
base relies on the old eclipse update story. The code is in the IP process
at the foundation before being released in the open.
The focus of the provisioning work is to replace the old eclipse update
story.
So yes both projects are doing provisioning, but different aspects of it.
Of course there is some overlap and we have been talking together at
eclipsecon during the various provisioning bofs and also during the
ganymede provisioning workshop that has been help in April. We hope to work
more closely together in the near future to make sure that the new concepts
being introduced in the equinox provisioning will be flexible enough for
them.

Hi,
I just came across the page for this eclipse incubator project - Project
maya
http://www.eclipse.org/maya/
it seems to be doing some of the same things we are doing with the equinox
provisioning.
anybody enlighten me how these two can be related?
