Re: [emfcp-dev] Proposal to use "noteworthy" key words in Bug Reports

Hi,

as there was no negative feedback, we will introduce the "noteworthy" tag with the 1.19.0 development stream. It is also part of the review to check a BR, whether it is marked as "noteworthy" if this applies and we will adapt the getting involved section like below.

Best regards,
Jonas

Tag "noteworthy" bug reports

use this tags on bug reports, that are "noteworthy" especially:
- New features
- Process changes

In general, consider if you would write an article about a release and ask yourself, whether you would mention this bug report. If yes, it is noteworthy.
Adopters and developers will use this information to learn whats noteworthy in a release. so please make sure, that "noteworthy" bug reports have a proper description.

Hi,

I would like to propose using the "noteworthy" keyword in addition to the "testing" tag on Bug Reports, which are noteworthy. This includes new features, but also process adaptations. Basically, it should cover everything a developer should be aware of, if he/she is on a holiday for half a year and everything adopters wants to know on a high level about a new release. So there is definitely overlap with the "testing" keyword, but I expect less bugs to be "noteworthy".
