[egit-dev] Logical model support

Hi there,

I just want to let you know that I'm currently working on integrating logical resource support[1][2] and model merge support into EGit[3]. This allows to better integrate with other plugins that provide a logical view on the files in question, as example: JDT, EMF Compare and other modeling-related tools.
As part of this, I will support Dariusz to improve the user experience with the Synchronize view and enable logical model integration in there.

It would be great if the community could vote on outstanding issues with the synchronize view in order to help us prioritizing our current efforts.

Also, if you have any input on the logical model support, feel free to put your thoughts on the task[3].
