[ee4j-pmc] Reminder to vote on the Committer Election for Vaibhav Vishal on EclipseLink
|
Voting will close on 2026-08-26 for the Committer election of Vaibhav Vishal
on project EclipseLink (ee4j.eclipselink).
Criteria:
Vaibhav has made sustained, high-quality contributions across core
EclipseLink functionality, JPA query processing, database-platform behavior,
JMS lifecycle handling, diagnostics, and application deployment reliability.
His pull requests demonstrate careful root-cause analysis, regression-test
coverage, responsiveness to review feedback, and successful collaboration
with existing committers.
Notable merged contributions include:
#2646 — Reverted a regression-causing sequencing/schema change, refining
the solution through multiple review cycles.
#2626 — Fixed JMS subscribers remaining blocked during server shutdown.
#2383 — Fixed missing parameters in optimistic-lock exceptions for Oracle
batch execution, with regression coverage.
#2377 — Resolved invalid query-key failures in inheritance-related JPQL
expressions, with improved and granular tests following review.
#2161 — Corrected propagation of queryTimeoutUnit during executeUpdate,
resolving issue #1056.
#1936 — Improved batch-writing OptimisticLockException diagnostics by
