Subject: Re: [ee4j-pmc] Add Emily Jiang to the EE4J PMC
We have 3 +1 votes so I declare the nomination of Emily Jiang to the EE4J PMC as successful.
+1
-Kenji Kazumura
EE4J has, as a stated goal that the PMC "should represent the major open source contributors to the projects within
the top-level project. Since Kevin Sutter's retirement, IBM, which is a strategic member of the Jakarta EE Working Group, is not represented in the PMC. I would therefore like to propose adding Emily Jiang to the EE4J PMC.
I don't think Emily needs any further introduction, but here are a couple of points related to EE4J and Jakarta EE. She is a committer on a wide range of EE4J projects (check out here Eclipse Foundation profile
below) and an active member of the Jakarta EE Specification Committee and Jakarta EE Steering Committee.
Please respond with +1 (positive), 0 (abstain), or -1 (reject). Any feedback that you can provide to support your vote will be appreciated. Community input is welcome, but only votes cast by PMC members will
be counted.
