I just ran a job to get a list of the profiles...  I'm guessing that I need to update both the Name and ID...

[INFO] Getting list of available staging profiles...
[INFO]
[INFO] ID              Mode   Name
[INFO] 3c3a88d3cae4    BOTH   jakarta.platform

I will try these updates in teh configuration and see if I make progress...

Terry,
I think I might be hitting this dependency on staging profile IDs...

I'm trying to stage the Platform APIs (9.0.0-RC1):
https://ci.eclipse.org/jakartaee-platform/job/release/15/

And, I am getting the following error...

+ mvn -B -q -Pstaging nexus-staging:rc-open -DstagingProfileId=d473138359bf1b -DstagingDescription=jakartaee-api:9.0.0-RC1
Picked up JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS: -XX:+IgnoreUnrecognizedVMOptions -XX:+UseContainerSupport -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseCGroupMemoryLimitForHeap
Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -XX:MaxRAMPercentage=64.0
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.sonatype.plugins:nexus-staging-maven-plugin:1.6.8:rc-open (default-cli) on project jakartaee-api-parent: Execution default-cli of goal org.sonatype.plugins:nexus-staging-maven-plugin:1.6.8:rc-open failed: 404 - Not Found -> [Help 1]

I'm assuming the staging name (jakartaplatform) is still okay, but maybe the staging id (
d473138359bf1b) has changed since moving to the new jakarta sonatype instance?

thanks for your help!

Kevin,

That is correct. The URL will be the only significant change. However, I will note that the staging profiles will be recreated on the new endpoint. This is something to be aware of if you have anything that explicitly relies on staging profile IDs.

David,
So, we can assume that all of the various directories that were utilized in the past will migrate over?  The only thing changing is the hosting url from
oss.sonatype.orgto jakarta.oss.sonatype.org, correct?  Thanks!

Thanks for doing the change in Jakarta Rest, Markus.

I'll send the note again to spec project leads with the data from the link in text format.
