Re: [eclipselink-dev] Promote HANAPlatform out of incubation - pending patches

Hi Sabine,

I think you're right, it does not need to be solved before moving out of the incubator. It should probably be removed as a dependency from the incubator bug.

Right, I haven't looked into that.
It occurred also with MySQL, so it's rather database independent than caused by the HANA platform. I don't have much knowledge in that area, so I'd prefer to hand that one over to you.
But it doesn't have to be solved before moving out of the incubator, does it? I opened the bug rather for documenting the issue.

Thanks and best regards,

One other thing...

I do not see a patch on this bug (it is listed in the depends list for 383862):

Should I?

Hi Sabine,

To accept the GitHub contributions, I need to you explicitly post to each bug
with a GitHub contribution associated with it, the following:

1. confirmation that you authored 100% the content they are contributing
2. confirmation that you have the rights to donate the content to Eclipse
3. confirmation that contribute the content under the EPL & EDL

Here's the process I have to follow:

Hi Tom, hi all,

The tests against the HANAPlatform in the incubator are all passing now (or
based on known and filed bugs). See
details. There is also a bug for the promotion:

We would like to promote the platform out of incubation soon to have it included
in the 2.5 release. As a prerequisite, could you please have a look at the open
patches I provided and submit them if they are okay? The corresponding bugs are
all linked by the bug mentioned above, but here’s also a list of the open ones:

bug 400908 <>

bug 401069 <>

bug 401413 <>

bug 401509 <>

bug 396259 <>

bug 397559 <>

Could you please take care?

Thanks and best regards,
