Re: [eclipsecon-na-program-committee] Here come the real work: please rate talks

Should we also use the 5-star "PC Score" system on the abstract page? I've been rating them there as well as in the spreadsheet.

Hi all,

I've created a spreadsheet with talks already submitted so everyone can start to rate them (https://goo.gl/CMcD11). As we already have a 100s of talks and as we have an extended deadline, we will skip the initial sifting phase (i.e. no +1/0/-1 vote). We will go straight to the final PC voting.

On the spreadsheet linked above, you have 2 sheets to care of: "Standard talks" and "Tutorials". There is one column for each of you (TLA as below):

AKU: Alex
BDA: Brian
CAN: Chris
CBR: Cédric
DTO: Dalibor
JKO: Jan
JBI: Jay Jay
MBA: Mikael
MKO: Maximilian
MLI: Martin
PRA: Pascal
SKA: Simon

Please fill this column with your rate for each talk. As a reminder, you should rate a talk from 1 to 5 (no 0 to stay coherent with community voting rating system) with the following meaning:

1: The talk is off topic and does not aim at the proper conference or is a sales pitch.
2: The abstract is quite cryptic and you don’t really understand what it will be about.
3: Somewhat interesting.
4: Interesting talk.
5: You love it.

If you see a conflict of interest for a talk, please put an X instead of a rate.

I will not add new submissions before the end of the extended deadline. I suggest you start to rate the talks early so you won't have the full program to read and to rate in a few days after the ext. deadline ;)

If you have any question or issue with the sheet, feel free to ask.

Thanks.
Mikael

PS: I've excluded the "IoT day" submissions as they will be chosen by a parallel PC.
