Max,
Unfortunately, USA hotels operate their food and beverage very differently
from Ludwigsburg. We typically try to have water and coffee available during
the day.
We will have big posters with the daily agenda and paper handouts. :-)

Maybe I'm just unlucky but I thoroughly enjoyed having access to
refreshments outside the normal breaks. Usually in US all refreshments are
removed or just runs out before I get to them ;)
With respect to talks - I didn't get to see that many but if there was one
thing I missed was a plan overview to remember where things were at. The
monitors showed it but you had to wait for cycling through.
If each poster would on its back have a plan overview my life would have
been much easier the first two days ;)
