Re: [eclipsecon-na-program-committee] extended talks discussion

Hi,

I completely agree to those points. Especially the fact that the anticipated popular talks become extended talks and thereby run in parallel is a bummer.

Regards,
Sebastian

I went to see Eclipse Flux which is a project that I really love (Martin knows that) but I think the added benefit of the extra 25 minutes was not that extraordinary at the end. (And I missed SmartHome, Java Wearables and a Java talk from Stephan Herrmann)

I got quit good feedback for the lighting talk format from the Model Symposium. So why not have next time the Modeling Symposium and the IoT Symposium and an Xtext/DSL symposium and a general Lightning Talk session. (and maybe we have to reach to find people to run these symposia)
