Yes, I agree. I just thought about starting the process with those for which we have consensus already - to get things rolling.
Based on the discussion so far I think we have consensus about:
- Erich Gamma (e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1B9p691U_Ms )
- Hans Dockter (Gradleware responsible for Gradle)
- Boris Bokowski (Google, Debugging in the Cloud)
If FOSS4G rejects him as a keynote:
- Brian Goetz from Oracle on Java9 und 10
Opinions?

Panel discussion sounds good, but I wonder if someone from GitHub and Mozilla would show up for a panel discussion only. But we can try.
