Abstract: Fitness has become an increasingly important focus within the community as preventative medicine is aiming to move into the norm, rather than the exception. Many companies have developed fitness trackers for both daily activities and specialized ones and offer ways to visualize that data. Many of the services require dedicated applications and give limited statistical functionality. In this session we will look at diving into Fitocracy’s web services and exposing an OSGi API that provides access to these as well as using OSGi on the server side to provide a visualization of one’s statistical physical progress.
