Re: [eclipsecon-na-program-committee] More talks...

I know we are trying to cut, and the last thing we need is more talks to
consider. However, another project that I noticed was missing was
Nebula. :-(.

I'm struggling a little bit with that motivation for two reasons.

One is that IMHO there are many other projects that are missing talks and are also run by volunteers. They are all very interesting but at some point we have to cut off. On the other hand, there are also many other projects at Eclipse with a significant larger community (BIRT, EclipseLink) and we only admit one talk for them either.

The other reason is that I think those two talks could also be very well fitted into a series of blog posts and screen/podcasts which may reach a much greater audience than just the conference attendees. Personally I don't like any "what's new in ..." kind of talks. The conference space is too small to make room for news that I can easily consume on Planet Eclipse. But that's just me.

An alternate for projects like Nebula are BOFs and maybe we can also have a project demo space?
