This is the talk:

http://www.eclipsecon.org/2012/sessions/use-disuse-and-misuse-automated-refactoring-tools

I found this talk personally interesting. I read the paper and forwarded it on to the JDT committer team, who recently also blogged about it:

However with my PC hat on, I wondered how much of the attendees would want to know about this. Most of the attendees are using Eclipse tools or building RCP applications, but not actually building refactoring tools. This felt like a very niche subject to me, and the research paper probably communicates the findings just as well as a talk.
