Actually it is different from the last couple of years. There was
more lag time between when EclipseCon Europe ended, and when the
call for submissions started/ended for EclipseCon NA. Regardless,
submissions always come in at the last possible moment.

The fact that you have EclipseCon Europe happening, and several
presenters going there, they aren't even thinking about
EclipseCon NA right now. So if one of the Rock Stars isn't
thinking about it, not sure much of the other community is as
well.
