Doug,

Will LinuxTools contribute a true release candidate of this minor release to SR1 RC1.  If not, is there a ramp down plan/statement you can point us at that will indicate when they will be feature complete?   Thanks.

Neil

Hey gang,

For a few releases now, LinuxTools has been releasing a minor release with each SR. That's what works best for them and they've done a good job of ensuring the integrity of the SR releases while satisfying their community.

Unfortunately, this SR, they've been caught by the miscommunication around the requirement to release a month before the SR and would like to ask for an exception so that they can release their planned minor release in time for SR-1.

I will bring up whether this requirement actually makes sense now that the ill feelings around the last SR have subsided. But for now, all I'm asking is for approval to this exception so that we don't overly burden well behaved projects.

Thanks,
Doug;
