Council members, 

I've tried to document some of what we do for our simultaneous releases.

I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions or observations you have, 
especially for activities I've omitted. 

Hopefully, such documentation will help us "keep track" of what needs to 
be done, at a high level, and make sure that someone is doing it!
