We Need Your Vote on August 11 On August 11, we will be asking for your vote on whether the Foundation can offer a modified membership agreement to government agencies who would like to join our working groups, but are unable to sign the agreement because it stipulates New York state as the governing law. A change to the agreement requires consent from the members at large. So your vote matters a great deal, since we must have an appropriate return of votes before we can make this change.
Executive Director Mike Milinkovich recently posted to the members-committers list with details about the change, so please look for that email for more information. You may also email Mike or Andrew Ross (director of ecosystem development) with any questions or concerns. |
