I've heard Martin Fowler speak a number of times and while he is a
good speaker I'm not sure he's a good fit for our keynote.

What about Martin Fowler. I think he just wrote a book

his recent work on the Lively Kernel which is pretty
amazing. Here's his QCon session. I missed his
session which was the day before I arrived but I have
seen him speak at a keynote at OOPSLA with Alan Kay.
