Agreed. As the EclipseCon Program Committee, we should not have to be answerable to the community. What we do is about making sure we pack the halls and that will mean making decisions that at times be counter to the wishes of the community. Too bad. (Just being frank :).

While I'm a fan of transparency in almost all cases, I think we need to have candid discussion of talks in some type of forum that is away from public scrutiny.
