Re: [eclipse.org-eclipsecon-program-committee] Updated submission guidelines + Subs page

It'd be nice to see what each of the "Types" maps to (at least in terms of time) right on the submission page. Also, should the "Short" type just be "Talk"?

We now have three talks!

We spoke of resetting the database at some point before rolling it out. Are we still going to do that?

I've updated the submission guidelines at

around the talks structure particularly.

The submission system is at

https://www.eclipsecon.org/submissions/2010/

log in and take a look around. We already have one submission
in the pot :)

If there are no objections, I'm proposing we go on the submission
system now, and incrementally add functions when we need them.
It's time to open shop.

I'm particularly looking for feedback on the tags (when you go to
submit a talk you see the tag lexicon). These are based on last
years ones, and may not fully reflect our needs. For example,
modeling is very diverse, so perhaps a Modeling tag is a little
too coarse-grained.

We can add tags at any point, but taking them away will be
a nuisance if submissions are already using them.
