All, Thanks for attending todays call. As soon as I heard all the beeps of people signing off, I realized that I forgot one agenda item. Blogging please take the time to blog either through your personal blog or through the EclipseCon blog (something that feeds PlanetEclipse) about EclipseCon and your category. I have noticed that every time someone blogs or sends a newsgroup email about EclipseCon that we get another burst of submission activity. I also think that all of the little reminders will help to drive excitement and attendance. Topics for today: Keynote Pictures and Main Page - pictures are not good and too prominent - this years keynotes lack the name recognition need to focus on quality and content - keynotes are not the number one draws, Community and Content are more important Main Stage Presentations - Be prepared to report on your categories main stage recruiting at next meeting - Web Tools: recruit enterprise customer - DSDP: Android talk Submission System - Please verify that you have PC access to the system (when you search you will see the Accept/Decline legend in the upper right corner of the search page) - Please sign-up to get notifications of changes in your category - Please triage talks as they come in looking for - Author bio (even if they are famous...) - Well written and formatted abstract (HTML) - Appropriate category Next Call - The previously scheduled call conflicted with Eclipse Summit Europe - Moved call to November 13 at 12 eastern.
