The negative feedback we get each year is about the quality of the talks: too much reading from slides, too much mumbling, a ten minute talk stretched for an hour, etc. I suspect that you don't notice those bad talks because you have enough local knowledge to avoid the bad speakers. Our goal this year is to make it possible for the inexpert attendees to do the same by significantly lowering the percentage of bad talks.
