Ah, that wasn't my proposal - but I like your idea better anyway. A good way to get people into the conversation cocktail hour all preped to talk to each other.  I'll need to redo my schedule if we want to do this because I was putting the schedule together assuming a single room vertically for all hours each day. But all rooms horizontally, at the end of each day, is better.

I like the idea of making the final “talk” hour of each day the short talk hour…it seems like a fun and lighterweight way to end the day, and has the advantage of not creating conflicts between short and long talks unnecessarily.
