[eclipse.org-eclipsecon-program-committee] Program Committee Action Item - Recruit Tutorials

EclipseCon Program Committee Members,
On behalf of myself and Tim, I want to thank you for your help so far in recruiting keynote and plenary speakers.

Next on the list, as you know, is tutorials.  The submission deadline is November 1st, a short 27 days from today.  The secret to a good conference is active recruiting of content - good content does not magically show up - we (you all) have to ask for it.  Hence your action item for this week:

ACTION ITEM FOR EVERYONE: call in to Friday's conference call with a list of the people you have contacted and the list of people you will be contacting about tutorials.

As of today, there are 10 tutorial submissions: 9 developer track, 1 user track, and zero business track. Surely there must be things that the business track people want to learn? How to handle the IP issues in using Eclipse? How to market to Eclipse users? ...
