Re: [eclipse.org-committers] EMO Office Hours - Thursday Oct. 10th @14.30 UTC

Good morning,

There was a typo in the previous email. As stated in the subject line, the Office Hours will take place this Thursday, October 8.

You can subscribe to the project calendar here:https://www.eclipse.org/projects/calendar/

You can also download the iCal invitation directly from the calendar.

Apologies for the confusion, and thank you for your understanding.

Kind regards,

Carmen Delgado

Hello Committers,

You’re invited to join us next Thursday for the monthly EMO Office Hours!.

📅 Date: October 10
🕝 Time: 14:30 UTC
🔗 Zoom: https://eclipse.zoom.us/j/84638945339

We’ll have two speakers joining us:

  • Denis Roy, Head of Information Technology, will share how to engage with the Eclipse Foundation IT staff, use our Help Desk, and how we manage your requests.

  • Carmen Delgado, Open Source Community Manager, will talk about the new initiative for Eclipse Project funding outside an Industry Collaboration: the Eclipse Project Sponsorship Pilot Program

We'll have a surprise for you in this session! Stay tuned....

Quick recap from our previous session:
If you missed our September session, you can catch up here: https://www.eclipse.org/projects/articles/officehours/2026-09

We covered:

  • Project Glasswing:  If your project team is prepared to collaborate on the validation and remediation of vulnerabilities identified by Project Glasswing, your repositories are actively maintained, and your project security team includes active Committers who can act on reports, we encourage you to enrol: https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/security/ai-scan-enrollment

  • Graduating from Incubation: Graduation marks the point when an incubation project has matured, its code base has stabilised, and the team is comfortable with the Eclipse Foundation Development Process https://www.eclipse.org/projects/handbook/#incubation-graduating

  • Committer housekeeping: a reminder to keep your project and Committer information up to date. We are adding this step to the annual progress review.

We hope to see you there,

Maria Teresa
