It looks like we have consensus. I've moved the meeting to the fourth Friday of every month. Our next meeting will be on August 27.

I'm still working with the Infrastructure Team to wrestle "host" control of the Zoom account. In anticipation of a successful conclusion, I've left the Zoom coordinates as-is in the meeting notice. I'll re-evaluate as we get closer to the meeting date.

I've drafted a document describing the Eclipse Technical Advisory Council and listing some of the activities we engaged in over the past year or so. I've assembled the content from meeting minutes, various issues, and my own recollection. I believe the document is accurate. Please let me know if you have any feedback (either by posting on this mailing list or by creating an issue). I've set the article's publishing date to August 20, so that's the deadline for feedback.

I would like to use some of our time in our next meeting to discuss opportunities to provide committers with more advice regarding AI use and disclosure.

If you have other topics that you'd like to add to the agenda, speak up!

As we discussed in our July meeting, I'd like to change the timing of our regular monthly meeting.

For many years, we've held our meeting on the second Thursday of every month at 1700H CET/1100H ET. 

I suggested changing the meeting day to the fourth Thursday of every month, thinking that separating it by two weeks from the Committer Office Hours would increase the likelihood that you can attend both.

I also suggested changing the meeting time to be earlier in the day for our members in the CET timezone, but the feedback I received was that having it at the end of your day makes it more likely that you can attend.

I suggest that we keep the time as it is. So, if enough of us agree, future meetings, starting on August 27 2026, will be held on the fourth Thursday of every month at 1700H CET/1100H ET.

Please signal your approval by responding +1. If this timing prevents you from otherwise attending, please respond -1 and suggest an alternative (or send me a personal note if you prefer). I'll assume lazy consensus from members who do not reply. I'll review the replies when I get back from vacation on August 10th and sort out next steps based on your responses.
