By way of expectation management, I'll be away for the next two weeks.

At this point, this election is going swimmingly (that is, very well), and all that we have left is the formality of requesting EMO(ED) approval, making the appointment, and formally inviting Hannes to join us. I'll set up a reminder to do all that when I return to the office on July 8th.

In the meantime, Aleksander, please extend an informal invitation to Hannes to join our meeting on July 10.

* Eclipse TLP PMC member 

* Committer and driving force in many projects including but not only Platform (releng) specifically, M2E, Tycho and so on.

But most importantly he is eager to improve and automate things and is a great person to work with.

I really believe that he will be good addition to the council and improve the conversations with fresh opinion. Not having him till now looks like an oversight to me!
