Greetings Eclipse Architecture Council.
I need mentors for three projects. Eclipse Exousia and Eclipse OpenDataSets both have committers who are already pretty familiar with our processes, so they should be relatively easy to mentor. My colleague, Maria Teresa, is working closely with the Eclipse PASS folks, so that should also be a pretty light mentoring load.
Your help will be appreciated.
Eclipse Exousia implements Jakarta Authorization, a technology that defines a low-level SPI for authorization modules, which are repositories of permissions facilitating subject based security by determining whether a given subject has a given permission, and algorithms to transform security constraints for specific containers (such as Jakarta- Servlet or Enterprise Beans) into these permissions.
The
Eclipse Public Access Submission System (PASS) is a platform to assist researchers in complying with the access policies of their funders and institutions. Eclipse PASS is a web-based platform that allows US researchers to simultaneously submit their Open Access manuscripts into multiple repositories, while seamlessly complying with their various access policies.
Eclipse OpenDataSets provides open, anonymised, up-to-date and ready-to-use datasets related to development of Eclipse projects.
Thanks,
Wayne
