Some Eclipse projects already use UI testing tools (SWTBot uses their own of
course, TPTP uses their AGR) but there is potential for much more and simpler
UI testing. Especially new projects should have some "Howto" documentation that
helps them get started with automated UI tests easily.

The Platform Team has compiled a table of different UI testing tools and their
pro's and cons: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Automated_Testing#UI_tests

Let's use this bug for discussion, feedback and questions regarding these tools
as well as a master channel for best practices around UI testing.
